How ConTROLL Works
Connect your reservation platform, sync your history, and prepare for service. Here's how it works.
Plug into what you already use
ConTROLL connects to Resy, OpenTable and Toast Tables through a ConTROLL Chrome extension installed on the computer you already use for reservations. Your team can use ConTROLL itself on an iPad or any device while the extension runs on that computer.
Public reviews: Resy and Toast Tables venues add their Google, Yelp and TripAdvisor listing links in Settings; OpenTable venues receive their aggregated review feed through the OpenTable extension. Resy venues also complete a one-time guestbook export for full guest profiles.
- ConTROLL Chrome extension for Resy (plus a one-time guestbook CSV export)
- ConTROLL Chrome extension for OpenTable (reviews included)

Intelligence happens automatically
Once connected, ConTROLL brings in your reservation history, guest records and feedback, then cross-references them with public reviews, matching where the evidence supports a connection and explaining why. Timing and available history vary by platform and venue.
Guest profiles build automatically. VIPs surface. Risk patterns emerge, each with the reasons shown.
- Review matching across Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor
- Risk and VIP signals computed from guest history, with explanations
- Unresolved reviews stay available in the Ghost Pool
- Anonymous network signals for guests already in your data
Daily briefings, real-time alerts
Before service, your team opens the Daily Report: tonight's reservations, guest history, risk and VIP signals, and prep notes. Clarity before service.
During service, alerts flag high-risk reservations, VIP arrivals and same-night booking conflicts where the current rules support them.
- Daily Report ready in ConTROLL before service
- Risk levels with clear explanations
- Large parties, first-timers and win-backs called out
- Special requests and notes surfaced
Better intelligence as the network grows
Venues on ConTROLL share anonymous behavioral signals. When a guest who books with you carries a signal from another venue, you see the signal: never the name, the venue, or the record.
Personal details, raw records and venue identities never travel across venues. Just the behavioral intelligence that helps everyone prepare.
- Anonymous no-show and cancellation signals
- Negative and positive review history signals
- Privacy-first: no venue sees another venue's data
- More venues, more signal
